ARE PRICES IN USD OR CAD?
WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR ART?
I WANT TO BUY A PRINT--WHICH ONLINE PRINTING COMPANY IS BETTER?
Pictorem.com is my new favourite place to buy prints online. They are affordable, have a great variety of print mediums/styles/features, have free shipping in CAD and USA, plus a 30 day guarantee. This video explains the different fine art print mediums they offer and this video showcases their product portfolio; and finally, here is one showing some different acrylic printing options (acrylic printing is a newer method and many are not familiar with it). Prints do not automatically come varnished; I recommend you select to have your print varnished (semi-gloss is the most common) -- varnishing options are presented to you during the ordering process.
FineArtAmerica.com is a serious place to buy prints online; the quality of their prints is very high and their prices reflect that. From their website: "Fine Art America is the largest canvas print manufacturer in the world. We have 14 fulfillment centers located in five different countries and produce museum-quality canvas prints for hundreds of thousands of artists, photographers, and iconic brands. Our expert staff prints each canvas using archival inks which are designed to last for 75 years without fading and then hand-stretches each print onto durable, pine stretcher bars." Click here learn more about craftsmanship, mounting, quality/care, delivery, etc. Still not sure? Read some reviews about fineartamerica.com here.
RedBubble.com is the place to go if you are looking for a more affordable option. Even though their reviews aren't as high as fineartamerica, I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered from there; in fact, I order my greeting cards from there and I love them every time! they offer a lot of fun and interesting products, like prints, home decor, mugs, bags, cards and stickers. You can also sign up for their newsletter to receive deals and promotions. If you have never bought art online before and are worried about spending too much, this might be a good place to start. Click here to learn more about redbubble.com. Still not sure? Read some reviews about redbubble here. IMPORTANT: for some reason, I am occasionally charged customs/duty fees upon receipt of my redbubble order...never fear...100% of the time redbubble will refund customs/duty fees when you follow the steps listed here. It is pretty easy.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SHIP ORIGINALS?
If you provide your postal code, I can provide a shipping estimate for you. I ship through Canada Post, regular delivery with insurance/tracking. While I can provide a shipping estimate, I cannot anticipate extra costs such as duty, customs fees, etc. The purchaser will be responsible for any extra costs/fees.
DOES THE PRICE OF YOUR ARTWORK EVER CHANGE?
Absolutely yes! My pricing changes without notice and at my discretion. In time, expect prices to continue to increase. However, once a sale is in progress, the price will not change. No worries.
ARE YOUR PAINTINGS PERFECT?
Perfection is not something I desire to paint. Even if I am working from reference photos, it is usually a starting off point...something to inspire me or spark an idea...things rarely remain the same as in the reference photo. Things will be moved, omitted, added or changed completely. You will find imperfections and odd bits and things that don't look like they do in nature. That is the point. I don't want perfection. What I do want is colour, contrast and feeling. My paintings don't look like photographs. If you are disappointed when a painting doesn't look exactly like a specific place or animal in real life, my paintings will not please you. Also, something that you cannot always see in a photograph that is taken straight on is the texture of the painting--as I often work with heavy body acrylic paints, there is almost always raised bits here and there...if you are concerned about this, ask me for a side-angle photograph, so that the texture can be seen more clearly.
HOW CAN I SEE A LARGER IMAGE OF A PAINTING?
If you find a painting you like but want to see more of the fine details, I am happy to email you a larger image.
