Current Pricing for Commissions
Pricing will increase a small amount each year. Once a commission has been secured, it will not see a price increase.
Painting Details
Unless otherwise discussed, all commissions will be painted in oil on 1.5" wrapped canvas and will be ready to hang upon completion. This includes black painted sides, signature on front, and hanging wire attached with D hooks.
Paintings can be done in acrylic or oil. I have been using oils lately and unless a request for acrylic is made, I will complete your commission in oils. Oil paintings take a long time to dry/cure. Be prepared to wait 3-6 months+ for your painting. This time increases if you wish to have your painting varnished, which is a personal choice that the client should make. If you wish to have it varnished, it is done so using Gamvar Satin varnish, which is removeable. Varnish can be applied at not extra cost. You can read some of the pros and cons of varnishing here.
Custom wood floater frames are available upon request, for an additional cost.
